Duece Carter

Duece "Almighty" Carter is a decorated Muay Thai and Kickboxing fighter and Coach. Moving to Asheville from Delaware in January of 2019, Duece was set on becoming a fighter, and chose Rogue Combat Club as his home. Duece is known for his relentless pace, technical striking, and high fight IQ—earning him a reputation as both a fierce competitor and a sharp, motivational coach.

His martial arts journey began with watching boxing highlights on YouTube while working part-time at a local dollar store in Delaware. What began as a hobby quickly became a calling. He saved up to buy a heavy bag, watched online tutorials, and dove into the martial artist mentality. The turning point came when he discovered then-kickboxer Israel Adesanya, whose confidence, creativity, and skill convinced Duece to chase a lifelong dream of becoming a professional fighter.

In January 2019, that dream brought him to Rogue Combat Club in Asheville, NC to be alongside a college friend. As a fighter, Duece has stepped into the ring and cage for 17 amateur fights with a 1-0 MMA record (1 KO) and 13-2-1 Muay Thai/Kickboxing Record. His accomplishments include 7 Championship titles, from state to international, highlighted by capturing two WKA World Titles in 2024 at the World Championships in Scotland, where he proudly represented Team USA.

Beyond fighting, Duece is our Lead Muay Thai Coach, where everyday his goal is to help others unlock their potential, not only by refining their technique, but by building the mental toughness to overcome challenges in and out of the gym. Fighters and everyday athletes alike leave his classes exhausted but empowered, with clean, and effective Muay Thai that works in real-world situations.
